It was such a pleasure to close out my 2019 wedding season with one at The Roundhouse in Beacon for Jessica and Oliver. There was just a little bit of snow on the ground, which made for a slippery first look, but adorable nonetheless (check out their footwear!)
It's always extra nervewracking to have clients who are themselves artists - you know going into it that their wedding is not just an exercise in event planning, but as an aesthetic and artistic endeavor in its own right.
Ask ten photographers, and one thing almost all of us will agree on is that lighting has an outsize influence on the final images we create.
This is doubly true for a wedding day. With so much going on, and the many different lighting scenarios throughout the day, being able to adapt and utilize light creatively to tell your story is half of what makes wedding photography fun and rewarding.
