A selection of past work with some of my past wedding clients. This is not comprehensive but should give you a solid sense of what my style is and how I approach capturing each of my client’s weddings.
Pia & Ale’s wedding was multiple years in the making. I met them before the pandemic, and we had to change the dates 2-3 times as changing conditions (and a lot of out-of-town guests) kept changing what was possible for their big day. I’m so glad it all worked out in the end, and I’m obsessed with how their photos came out!
Buttermilk Falls Inn is one of the very first venues that I photographed at when I first moved to NYC. Something about returning to Buttermilk Falls years later felt like photography coming full circle for me, and it was such a pleasure to work with Molly & Andrew for their big day. Take two foodies with impeccable aesthetic and culinary taste. Add in Rule of Thirds, a restaurant located in the heart of Brooklyn's vibrant food scene with a rotating menu that showcases local ingredients and flavors. Toss in a dash of boisterous family members and you have Jannine and Guilly’s wedding. Best. Vendor. Meal. Ever. There, I said it.
Some weddings have an uncanny sense of giving yourself (as the photographer) a glimpse of how your own big day might be. Perhaps it’s the fact that M is also a lawyer. Perhaps it’s just the aesthetic being on point. Perhaps it’s all of the above. Regardless, something about this wedding just clicked for me and I’m so excited to have been there for B&M’s big day.
We had the pleasure of photographing the luxurious wedding of Marissa & Devon at the Roundhouse in Beacon, New York. From the moment we arrived at the venue, we knew that this was going to be a classic and elegant event. The Roundhouse provided the perfect backdrop for a sophisticated wedding, with its towering windows and exposed brick walls. Marissa and Devon chose a beautiful color scheme of black, white, and gold, with stunning floral arrangements and sparkling candles adding to the luxurious atmosphere. Dana and Sean's New York City wedding at the Society of Illustrators was a truly unique and unforgettable event. This stunning venue, located on the Upper East Side, combines elegance, history, and art to create the perfect setting for an artistic and intimate wedding.
It was such a pleasure to close out my 2019 wedding season with one at The Roundhouse in Beacon for Jessica and Oliver. There was just a little bit of snow on the ground, which made for a slippery first look, but adorable nonetheless (check out their footwear!)
I got to try freelensing for the first time at this wedding - stay tuned for a writeup coming to the blog shortly. I love how it turned out and it's a great example of the creative experimentation that I'm grateful my clients allow me to do.
It's always extra nervewracking to have clients who are themselves artists - you know going into it that their wedding is not just an exercise in event planning, but as an aesthetic and artistic endeavor in its own right.
Sometimes you just get really lucky.

With only 6 hours of notice, Justin provided us with the exact photos we wanted, while creating an experience and environment that we really enjoyed and was comfortable!
Sometimes when you get married, you don't always have time on the day of to get all the pictures that you want. Sometimes it's even helpful to book a separate session before/after the session itself, just so that you can make sure to get some additional highlight images for yourself and your family.
So not every "New York City" couples session needs to be in a super popular area like Central Park or Times Square. Often what's more important is that you simply pick a location that's meaningful to you, and just go for a walk around the neighborhood. I had a lot of fun exploring the Lower East Side with Kiera and Naim, check out some of their photos below!

I love it when my clients connect with me not just on a personal level but also on an artistic level. I remember when I first met Jenny and Jing at Grounded Coffee House, I asked them what stood out to them about my work. Jenny immediately answered that it was the unique compositions that I find, as well as the simple symmetry in the pictures.
From a day that started at The Royalton Park Avenue Hotel, followed by a ceremony and brunch at Riverpark NYC, and then karaoke at Japas 38, everything was intentionally chosen to be the purest expression of their love for one another. I was so grateful to have the opportunity to be there to document their day and share in their love.
Fabulous fun shooting alongside Rose the Guy. Just a light set of highlights from Luke and Kelly's wedding - I was focused on supporting Rose's work and supplementing him as we worked together to tell Luke and Kelly's story.
When i was first told about Tara and Zach, I was told two things: 1. They are shy in front of the camera, and 2. They want to have photos that feature the venue and the church. On the day of however, I realized that while they may individually not have been super comfortable in front of the camera, together they balanced each other so incredibly well that it was an absolute breeze to photograph them.

These were the words that inspired this styled shoot I pulled together in the end of March 2019. Each of the vendors and models included in the shoot were asked to take those words and re-interpret it in the way that was reflective of their style and personality.
Kicked off 2019 strong with this wedding shot at Il Villaggio in New Jersey. Even though I'm primarily based in New York City, I am more than happy to travel to New Jersey and beyond for clients. In this case I was fortunate because Carlstadt, NJ, is not very far away and was just a short drive.
